October 1, 2016 marks 56 years of Nigeria’s independence. The situation in our countries economy might be trying and challenging being Africa’s most populous country and largest economy, but we would all agree that it is a great privilege to be alive and be a part of this great country currently undergoing a transition.

Monday 3rd October, 2016 has been declared a public holiday in honor of Nigeria’s independence which would break the *Monday Morning Rush* Nigerians experience. The Independence Day celebration would also be celebrated in the United states which has nearly 400,000 immigrants from Nigeria, making up the U.S.’ largest African community.

Our dear country continues to experience transformations in various sectors including agriculture, science, literature, engineering, culture including Naija music and the Nollywood industry and the young people in Nigeria have been catalysts to the change that Nigeria is experiencing as cited and celebrated by google doodle, thumbs up young Nigerians.

We are celebrating Nigeria’s independence at New Horizons in a grand style with a free seminar across all our centers empowering all attendees with required ICT skills for the 21st century and up to 40% off all registration on courses in Cisco Networking, Project Management, Digital Marketing, Computer engineering.
